Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia is a recognized caucus of the Democratic Party of Virginia and a member of its Steering Committee.

DAAV activities include:

• Asian American Heritage Month Reception

• Endorsement of Democratic candidates

• Candidate Forums

• Booths at Asian Festivals

• Organizing volunteers for campaigns

• Educational and social events
