Democratic Asian Americans of Virginia (DAAV) is the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander caucus of the Democratic Party of Virginia (DPVA). We are proud of the diversity of the AANHPI community in Virginia.

Our Mission
Our Mission
DAAV's mission is to promote the interests of Asian Americans in support of the Democratic Party. Our activities include voter registration, education, outreach, recruitment of members of local Democratic Committees and endorsement of candidates for political office.
EDUCATE
EDUCATE
We educate Virginians on the importance of getting involved in the political process at every level. We provide education on topics of interest to AAPI communities. We also provide voter registration and election information.
ENGAGE
ENGAGE
DAAV team works to make a difference in the civic life of one's community and developing the combination of knowledge, skills, values and motivation to make that difference. We participate in festivals to educate our community members.
ELECT
ELECT
GOTV: Get-Out-the-Vote is one of our crucial missions in mobilizing the community to vote. We work by canvassing and phone banking for many of our VA candidates.
